This 200m² house doubles as a permanent resi-dence and a weekend getaway for each of two brothers.

Located on the mountains, on a site adjacent to the forest, it has a magnificent view to the mountains and the Mikro Horio village.

The design is influenced by Giorgos Triantafyllou 's book and exhibition "archetypes* from greek huts and sheep folds to contemporary art and architecture" and the numerous buildings made of stone and weathered corrugated metal panels in the area that serve as storehouses or animal shelters. It is a composite structure of reinforced concrete and structural composite lumber.

The exterior walls are dressed local stone while one is coated with corrugated metal panels folding to form the roof. A two-story window wall covers the main facade giving an unobstructed view to the scenery.

The lower level is separated in the main living area that contains a two-story high living room, along with the dining room and kitchen and a private area with a guest-room, bathroom and the mechanical room. The living room opens up to an exterior area, that is  defined as a recess of the window-wall.

The upper level accommodates the bedroom areas. A rectangular window that runs along the corridor provides a cinematic view to the forest.
